Board

Since 2010, Kostas Mariakis has been a member of the Board of Directors of SEIV (Association of Health-Research and Biotechnology Industry). For six years he served as Treasurer of the Association, while for the past six years he has held the position of Secretary General.

He holds a degree in Pharmacy and has more than 47 years of professional experience in the field of diagnostic products. In 1978 he was appointed as the first person responsible for the diagnostic products of Abbott Diagnostic Division in Greece, a position he held until 1985.

He subsequently worked as Head of Diagnostics at Bakakos S.A. and at the State Pharmaceutical Warehouse S.A. during the period 1987-1991. In 1992 he founded the company Nea Diagnostiki Diastasi Ltd., which he continues to lead today, guiding it through a steady growth trajectory.

He speaks four languages and is married.
