SEIV is actively contributing to the public dialogue as remote monitoring of medical devices in Greece moves from planning to real-world implementation.

SEIV's Executive Director, Mr. Thanasis Akalestos, will join the panel "Teleconsultation in Greece: From Policy Framework to Real-World Implementation" at Athens Digital Health Week 2026 (ADHW) on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, 16:30-18:00.

The session builds on SEIV's initiatives on reimbursement for remote monitoring of medical devices (implantable, non-implantable, and SaMD) and the proposal to create a dedicated Working Group.
