The SEIV Digital Solutions Sector was established to provide an organized voice, strategic direction, and institutional representation to a rapidly evolving field that is transforming the healthcare system.

Technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, telemedicine, wearables, and digital therapeutics are redefining the way prevention, diagnosis, and patient monitoring are conducted.

The creation of the Sector also responds to significant regulatory developments at the European level, such as:

• the AI Act
• the Data Act
• the European Health Data Space (EHDS)
• NIS2 cybersecurity requirements

At the same time, the development of digital solutions is increasingly linked to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes and new reimbursement mechanisms.

The Sector aims to act as a bridge between industry, startups, the scientific community, the state, and patients, strengthening ecosystem connectivity and the development of innovative healthcare solutions.
