Health Technology Assessment (HTA)

The SEIV Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Working Group was established with the aim of strengthening the sector’s contribution to shaping a modern and effective health technology assessment framework in Greece.

HTA processes are becoming increasingly important for:

• patient access to innovative technologies
• the sustainability of healthcare systems
• evidence-based healthcare policy decision-making

The Working Group brings together experts specialized in health economics, reimbursement, and market access, aiming to develop assessment approaches that take into account the specific characteristics of medical technologies.

At the same time, it monitors developments at the European level, particularly in relation to the new EU HTA Regulation and joint health technology assessment procedures.
